Tourist guide Trogir

A romantic town of Trogir is situated on a small island in middle Dalmatia connected with the island of Čiovo as well as with the main land by way of two bridges.

The most significant medieval portal in this part of Europe, the portal of Master Radovan is located at the entrance to the cathedral. Be sure to visit the Museum of the town of Trogir located in the palace Garagnin-Fanfogna. Outside of the city walls the fortress Kamerlengo is situated and is certainly worth seeing. If you wish to relax and enjoy the sea and the sun there are several beaches in the vicinity of Trogir that will certainly complete your vacation!

Visit the beach Okrug Gornji located at a distance of 5 km from Trogir. This is the most popular beach on the Riviera of Trogir where apart from the sea and the sun you can also enjoy in numerous other maritime activities. On the northern side of the island of Čiovo a gravel beach Kava is found. It is suitable for families with children due to its layout, and a shallow entrance in the sea together with pine forest and its shade. You can visit the Pantana beach characterized by the small river Pantan that flows into the sea and consequently the water is briny and somewhat cooler there. For younger people we suggest a visit to the beach of Medena situated at the distance of 4km from the center of Trogir. Apart from the sea, amusement can be found in numerous beach bars, playgrounds and on the water slide but you can ultimately practicing other forms of aquatic activity as well.

If you are staying in Trogir, be sure to visit Šibenik, while the national Park Krka is also located nearby as well as the city of Split.

    Whilst there aren''t that many attractions in Trogir there is a regular bus service to Split and many coach services to other parts of Croatia so can be used as a base to see Dalmatia too
